We offer a wide selection of canine training to help your dog become more adjusted, well-rounded, and to live their best life with you. Although golden retrievers have a special place in our heart, we offer canine training to all dogs. You can view various training options and pricing below. Out In Public
Locations:
We offer to drive to you, or, we can also meet in a public location such as Lowe's, Home Depot, Runnings, and Tractor Supply. However, meeting in public is only recommended for more skilled canines, and should not be booked for first-time intake appointments. For our group training sessions, the location will be announced on our facebook page when classes are offered.
Canine Obedience
We offer several levels of canine obedience training which can help your dog respond better to your commands and connect with you emotionally. Mastery of basic obedience skills can prepare your dog for the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test and beyond!

Basic Family Manners
We offer canine family manners training so that your dog can learn basic skills to better coexist within the home environment. Some basic concepts we cover within this program include, but are not limited to:

AKC Canine Good Citizen
Testing
The Canine Good Citizen test is an assessment of 10 key obedience skills that demonstrate your dog's ability to self-regulate, engage with others, and perform in public settings. It is a wonderful way to prove your dog's mastery of several core obedience skills and behaviors, and is almost always a fundamental step preceding Therapy Dog or Service Dog level training. Tammy is a certified AKC evaluator and can offer you these tests for a fee of $65 each. Readiness evaluations are $20 for 15 minutes.

Potty Training Assistance
Sometimes potty training can be difficult. Or, maybe this is your very first puppy and you're not sure how. Either way, we are happy to help you get your dog potty trained promptly. Our unique training techniques, experience, and knowledge have proven useful to countless clients.
Therapy Dog
We are currently in the process of developing a community-based Therapy Dog program in which we will help to train, assess, and certify local dogs for Animal-Assisted Therapy services in our community. We plan to have a Therapy Dog program up and running by early 2025. If you're interested in this program, or would like to learn more, please contact Tammy directly.
Confidence Building
Through basic training skills, building upon the canine-human connection, and utilizing physical resources, we have been successful in helping countless dogs achieve higher confidence levels. It's simple: better confidence levels lead to a better emotional connection and interactive experience with your dog. This is regardless of whether you're bringing home a new puppy or a rescued friend. Let our knowledge and experience help introduce you to a calmer, more confident dog.
